[SOLVED] Unable to find Tycho configurator [message #1476975] Mon, 17 November 2014 09:08 Go to next message

Hi,
I'm using eclipse kepler for RCP and Rap developers: eclipse-rcp-kepler-SR2-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz and ubuntu 14.04
To build the OM2M project into Eclipse, a Tycho m2e connector is needed. To install m2e connectors , I proceed as follow Window -> Preferences -> maven -> discovery -> open catalog and type Tycho. However, I didn't find the "Tycho Configurator" checkbox in the list.

Can any body help me to install Tycho configurator under eclipse kepler?

I suggest you two solutions:

1) Install Tycho m2e connector manually using Help -> Install New Software. You can use the following update site: "http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/.m2e/connectors/m2eclipse-tycho/0.8.0/N/LATEST/
Do not forget to update your project: Select the package "org.eclipse.om2m" -> right click -> maven -> update Project.

2) Make a test with Eclipse Luna RCP and Rap developers using Window -> Preferences -> maven -> discovery -> open catalog. Then find and install tycho.

Hope this can help,
