Error: Report engine can not create pdf emitter? [message #147351]

Hello,

I have a report running fine in Eclipse environment preview/HTML and PDF.

If I deploy it to JBoss AS, I can run this report only in HTML mode.
In PDF mode I get an error message within the browser window:

Error happened while running the report

If I look into the BIRT log I found:

I did the standard installation and deploying of BIRT using the online
description under:
http://www.eclipse.org/birt/phoenix/deploy/viewerSetup.php

My configuration:

JBoss 4.0.3.SP1 on SuSE Linux 10.0
Java 1.4.2_06
Eclipse 3.1.1
BIRT 2.0.0

Can someone tell me whats wrong?

Hello,

solved already by myself.

Because of seom unknown reason I got the wrong iText-1.3.jar which just had
a size of 135KB.
I looked different mirrors and found several times a bigger one (1.145 MB).
After downloading that and putting it into
birt-viewer/plugins/org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.emitter.p df/lib
everythink worked well!!
