Ok, this is wierd. I could not find the compiled binary file for my first
c++ project. With my privious experience with running Java on Eclipse, I
went to Run -> run and create a new profile. But, when I try to select an
appllication to run, there is not any binary file listed. And, therefore I
have nothing to run.

I am confused. Does eclipse store c++ binary in a different directory? Or
I made mistakes on compiling the source file?

Patrick,

Try the CDT "Hello World" example on the FAQ page and see if you can get the
binary compiled:
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/cdt- home/user/faq.html?cvsroot=Tools_Project#create_10

I just tried it and the hello.exe file showed up just fine in the C/C++
Projects view.

Hope this helps,
Devin
