Is there a way to restrict the creation and editing of diagrams to
workspace projects only? Our application is being distributed as an RCP
application.
While attempting to implement SaveAs code from the Taipan/Mindmap
examples, I found it's code only likes to save out to workspace projects
folders. Since currently the application doesn't require this, I
thought we should go about adding that restriction anyway and thus
removing the headache of having to rewrite our own SaveAs routine, not
to mention it's an application requirement that is due on a later date.
Don't know if it matters, but our RCP app is built with a .product file
that uses the o.e.platform.ide and o.e.ui.ide.workbench as it's Product
ID and Application, respectively. This was done to include nice page
setup / print / print preview.

You could try to find out UI components that are used to open and save
models and add filtering to them.
