RAP theme bundle no longer resolved after docx4j integration [message #1450199] Wed, 22 October 2014 03:36 Go to next message

Hello

We're using the latest version of eclipse scout - LUNA release.

After we've enabled docx4j within scout perspective, our rap view got broken. Obviously "org.eclipse.scout.rt.ui.rap.theme.rayo" bundle is missing / not found.

!MESSAGE FrameworkEvent ERROR
!STACK 0
org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Could not resolve module: ch.primesystems.mercury.ui.rap [65]
  Unresolved requirement: Require-Bundle: org.eclipse.scout.rt.ui.rap.theme.rayo

	at org.eclipse.osgi.framework.eventmgr.EventManager.dispatchEvent(EventManager.java:230)
	at org.eclipse.osgi.framework.eventmgr.EventManager$EventThread.run(EventManager.java:340)

When trying to add this bundle to the rap product - we can't find this bundle in the given search dialog.

Any tips on this ?

Best regards

What is your current target platform?
(Maybe you can post a screenshot from the "Target Platform" preference page).
I guess the bundle you try to add in the product file is not available in your target platform. If you provide some informations about your the target plattform, I can help you to figure out why the bundle is missing.

See also the overview of the concepts target-platform, target-definition, product file... I have tried to provide in an other thread. Maybe this will help you.

Yes this is the screenshot I was expecting.

If you change to the "content" tab, can you check if the plugin "org.eclipse.scout.rt.ui.rap.theme.rayo" you want to add to in the product is the list or not. You can use the filter.

If you select Group By "Location" (combo box on the bottom right) you will see the location of your target platform that is providing the plugin.

Here is how it looks like in my workspace:
index.php/fa/19631/0/

Of course it is possible to add a software location that is providing the requested plugin.

Hello Jeremie

Thanks for your help - meanwhile I got it working by:

  • Creating new scout project
  • Downloading fresh rap target
  • Migrate both projects

Best regards
