I'm hoping I can get a little more explicit explanation of the following
quote from the online help:

"Workspace save processing is triggered when the workbench is shut down by
the user and at other times periodically by the platform."

Can someone help me with "other times periodically"?? For example, are the
"other times" triggered by some user-initiated event, or some period of
time, or ... ?

Thanks for the reply. I guess experimentation is the best way to find out
what "significant changes" means. I've found that SNAPSHOT is done when a
project is added, and will need to experiment some more unless you or
someone can provide more information.

Why do you need to know in so much detail? I could outline the heuristic
we use for deciding when to snapshot, but since it is subject to change,
it's best not to rely on it.
