Hi all,
I have Eclipse 3.3 (Europa) installed on my PC, and I'm running Java 6.
Can someone guide me on how to design swing applications using Eclipse
3.3? (Please note: SWING NOT SWT).
I could do this when I had Eclipse 3.1 & 3.2 installed. But, starting
Eclipse 3.3 I am not able to bring up the Swing designer. To add to this,
I am not able to locate the following:
(1) New->Examples->Swing->Slider Game
(2) Window > Preferences > Java > Visual Editor (This is per the VE Help
file. I know I could do this in my previous installation of Eclipse, but I
cannot do even this simple thing anymore).
Please help. I'm going crazy.
Thanks for your time and help folks!

Ok, I did the only thing that was possible... reinstall everything from
scratch. Probably my plug-ins were corrupted. I manually re-installed EMF,
GEF & VE.
Now I can create a Visual Class. But, when the palette loads I get the
following error message: "An internal error occurred during: "Setup Java
Visual Editor".
org/eclipse/jem/internal/proxy/initParser/tree/NoExpressionV alueException "
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't work on VE for Eclipse 3.3 yet. In general this kind of problem may
be relative of the cache.
I suggest to reset the cache: in the file explorer, try to find all files
named as ".cache" under the workspace and delete them.
