RAP Target runtime not appearing intermittently [message #1388444]

Scenario:

1) Install eclipse for RAP
2) install RAP target runtime and set as default
3) Switch workspaces.
4) Sometimes RAP Runtime do not appear in the target runtimes

When we try to install we get below error.

An internal error occurred during "Installing RAP target platform"
org/eclipse/pde/core/target/LoadTargetDefinitionJob

There is no workaround, we need to reinstall eclipse and start afresh.

Hi,
are you using Eclipse 4.4 for RCP and RAP (Luna)? How do you install the
RAP runtime - from Eclipse Welcome page? Which RAP Tools version are you
using and which RAP runtime are you trying to install?

Alternatively, you can download the target definition file from [1],
copy it into an Eclipse project, open it, and press "Set as Target
Platform" in the target editor.

Thanks Ralf, I will try that.

We are using eclipse kepler, RAP 2.1 version. This issue generally occurs when we install RTC plugin and then try to install RAP target runtime. Looks like there is a conflict between them. I will try once and post logs for further investigation.
