I'm using eclipse along with PHP Eclipse plugins and I've read through the
user manuals and haven't found a solution to this yet. The only feature I
can't seem to get working that other editors like PHPEdit provide is a
more robust Code Assist. Right now if I hit CTRL+Space it will show all
current classes, variables, and built-in PHP functions. What I can't get
it to show is class properties and methods. If I have the class file open
or have typed the property/method earlier in the same file I can use ALT+/
to auto-complete the word. I've really become dependant on Code Assist
letting me choose from a list though, especially on larger projects.
Turns out I don't have every method/property memorized yet. ;) And even
if I did, I'm way too lazy to type them out every single time.

Is this feature even available? If so what do I need to do for Eclipse to
analyze my class files?

You should report/ask this at the PHP Eclipse side.
