Localization RAP 2.3 is not working for the application model [message #1371909]

Hi!

For example:

I named the label of the main window "%trimmedwindow.label.1"
In the directory OSGI-INF/l10n there are 2 files:
bundle.properties and bundle_en.properties

The label "%trimmedwindow.label.1" is allways translated to the property stored in bundle.properties.
When I browse in an "english browser" the variable RWT.getLocale() switches and the text in the parts are translated.
The labels defined in the application model still stay German. The file bundle_en.properties is not used.

Hi,
this is probably related to this bug:
379979: Branding title is not translated when using internationalization
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=379979
or maybe it's even a duplicate.

Are you talking about RAP on e4?

Yes it's e4 (Luna 4.4, RAP 2.3.0.2014.0124-1321)

Sounds like a bug - please file a bugzilla against

Filed as https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=435495 and fixed
with
http://git.eclipse.org/c/rap/incubator/org.eclipse.rap.incubator.e4.git/commit/?id=6e41c0f31ba99b9d8f7b3c75dff766293e91fd3e
