I have Eclipse 3.0.2 with Hyades 3.0.2_20050225_1641 (also have
emf-sdo-xsd 2.0.2 and GEF-SDK 3.0.1 installed).

I am trying to profile my application I have in JBoss 3.0.8 (I haven't
yet got around to upgrading the configuration to use newer version yet).
I have modified the run.bat script to have (at the top):
set PATH=C:\hyades_server\bin;%PATH%
set JAVA_OPTS=-XrunpiAgent:server=enabled

Where C:\hyades_server is the location where I extracted the Data
Collection Engine to. I have RAServer running.

JBoss starts successfully. I then try to use
Window->Run->Profile...->Attach - Java Process and on the Agents tab I
select the agent that is attached to JBoss and attach sources and JBoss
libraries under the Source Tab.

Then I start the monitoring, but I do not get any data.

Any ideas?

Hi Cameron,

When you attached to the agent, did you specific a valid filter set for
including the data you looking for? A default filter set is used (shown as
part of the profiling set configuration) if nothing is specify which filters
out data under some generic named package

If you do not get any data at all in the profiling views after you start
monitoring and interact with apps on server , make sure you have enable
'link with viewer' button in the Profile Monitor view to ensure that the
view is showing the profiling resource in selection in the Profile Monitor
view.
