Has anyone tried building EDT from GitHub? [message #1327897]

I know that the EDT project is basically dead, but...

In theory, all the source for EDT is still there in GitHub, and following the steps in the link below I can build the EDT project and actually run EDT from within Eclipse.

Unfortunately, the EDT that runs is not the same as the EDT that you can download. For example, when creating a new EGL project you only see the template for creating a basic project.

Anyone else given this a try?
