Perhaps you could be more specific. Here are some general tips:

In what way do you want to connect
eclipse to mysql? You can always import the Connector/J jdbc drivers (from
http://www.mysql.com/downloads/api-jdbc-stable.html ). If you want to do
database management, you need a plugin for such:
