Is the default behavior of the 2.0.0 web viewer to create .rptdesign files
and not regenerate the report if I run it again without changing the
parameters?

Is there any way around this? If so, how?

Any help would be appreciated.

They say there is an __overwrite=true parameter.

Try it and see if it helps. I have the same issue, but other issues too,
I'm not too comfortable with that option yet;)

OK, thank you. I will try this out and see how it works.
I guess it cannot hurt anything by passing this parameter every time.
