sure what the ...Guides and ...Grid do but this one is a mystery for me...

Snap to Geometry snaps objects to other objects - for instance, it allows
you to snap two Circuits in the Logic Example to the same center, or place
them end to end, etc. Turn it on in the Logic Example with a few objects in
the Editor, then move around one of them. You'll see the snap lines appear
as you drag along the center/ends of objects (note: the objects don't have
to be adjacent to snap).
