Hi,
I want to add some dependant jar to my projects (eg. log4J ,digester,
collections etc.).
Do I add them somwhere in the MANIFEST.MF or just add using the class path.
Just wondering as im using the class path and getting errors during runtime.
But I can't see where to add external jars in the MANIFEST

Stu,
Probably there is documentation somewhere that describes all this, but
I've never read it and wouldn't know where to find it...

<pre wrap="">I have a project with is separate to the diagram projects, that the diagram
projects use for services.
I setup this service project originally as a plugin so I could add it to the
digram projects using the MANIFEST dependancies required plugin.
Problem occured when I started using apache.commons.digester in the services
project. Digester doesnt appear in the required plugin list, so I added it
as a dependant Jar in the Runtime>>Classpath as per your posting below.
From this it still all looks ok in the Eclipse dev environment but when I
launch - the code drops out with Class Not found.
I got around this at the moment by Building a jar for my services Projects
then adding in as an external jar to my diagram projects.
Bit of a "round the sun to meet the moon" but it works.
I'm guessing you should be able to develope services projects as well as
diagram projects in the same environment, so looking at the situation
described above can you see what I have done wrong (i would have thought to
use the Build-path dependant projects << but as you said don't ever use this
for plugin).
Is there is some reading material you think I should have a look at let me
know,

Use the Classpath section of the MANIFEST.MF's Runtime tab to add the
