Eclipse supports the JBuilder OT API? [message #122827]

hey all,

Looking to integrate a source control application with Eclipse and had heard
a while back that Eclipse supports the Borland JBuilder OpenTools API...

Is that true? I can't seem to find any articles on it at www.eclipse.org, so
I'm hoping someone here would know. Or maybe know where I could go to find
the answer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

NO! - When did you heard that, around the first day of april? Then it was a
joke!

JBuilder and Eclipse have completely different APIs here. Beside that, still
many of JB's more advanced OTAPI features aren't documented at all (...are
hidden/obfuscated) and many things of the JB "primetime" library are
directly related to the base jbuilder library.

Good question, I'am not sure if they have a sort of real reusable API here
for SCM systems. But since you get the sources along with Eclipse you can
look after how they implemented their CVS integration. Beside that, you may
want to take also a look at:

http://eclipse-plugins.2y.net/eclipse/plugins.jsp?category=T eam

Here you can find other SCM plugins for Eclipse. Maybe some of them also
come along with sources, I don't know...

systems, and there are a large number of SCMs that support Eclipse. If
you're interesting in integrating a particular SCM with Eclipse, look in
