I just downloaded eclipse 3.1, and I bought it up, the workbench and
stuff... but that's not I want. I wanna build an online help system, what
should I do? Or anywhere that has instructions of how to do it? Many
thanks.

I just tried this with version 3.1 - it took a couple of hours and is real
easy.

Read this:
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/opensource/library/os- eclipsehelp/
You'll also need this to figure out the menu path:
http://help.eclipse.org/help31/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse. platform.doc.isv/guide/workbench_menupaths.htm

It's pretty neat - running the help system as an Eclipse plug-in in a SINGLE
place (uses Tomcat under the hood).
