Strange behaviour of the GMF-RCP editor [message #124772] Tue, 08 May 2007 05:46 Go to next message

Hello again friends,

I'm back with another problem, which I would say it's rather strange. I
built a GMF editor and I made a RCP application of it.

When I create elements on the diagram, I have to save the diagram every time
in order to keep the elements on the diagram. For the first element works
fine. But from the second element on, first it gives an error saying that
the file was changed on the file system and it's undoing the element's
creation. Then, when I redo the same action (creating the same element), it
saves the file with no problem at all. It happens the same for every other
element I create.

Is this "normal"? Is it a bug? Is it only in RCP applications? Or I did
something wrong?

Please help. Thanks,

Floppy

Hello FLORIN,

Looks like a problem with synchronization code in RCP-generqated code. Can
you please file a request for it?
