Web Tools Installation [message #123493] Wed, 20 July 2005 10:52 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi there,

I downloaded Eclipse 3.1 (build of 6/27/2005) and also downloaded web
tools (build 1.0M5 - wtp-1.0M5.zip). I can open Eclipse fine, but I don't
see any J2EE, Web or Web Services perspectives, they are just not there. I
tried to restart it with -clean option, however, still they don't appear.
What can be wrong?

Thanks.
Boris

Even after the installation of all the above packages.
List of packages I've installed.

eclipse-SDK-3.1-win32.zip
wtp-1.0M5.zip
emf-sdo-SDK-2.1.0
JEM-SDK-1.0.2.2
VE-SDK-1.0.2.2
GEF-SDK-4.1

Still I don't see any J2EE, Web or Web Services perspectives, they are
just not there. I tried to restart it with -clean option, however, still
they don't appear. What can be wrong?

Please help
Thanks
Nelson

Its these two ... I believe ... you need the version of JEM
specified on the build page.
