Help building SWT on Linux [message #1229422] Thu, 09 January 2014 07:09
Eclipse UserFriend
I'm trying to build the SWT JAR on Linux (x86_64). I've checked out the git repositories and got everything setup and running in eclipse.

The swt.jar seems to build correctly (ant build.jars), but the Jar does not contain the libswt-*.so files. Those files are in the org.eclipse.swt.gtk.linux.x86_64 project (where I run the ant script), but they never seem to make it into the built swt.jar file.

Is there some other setting/property I need to set when building so that the libswt-*.so files get into the swt.jar?

I don't need to compile the .so files myself; I can use the pre-compiled ones.

Thanks for any pointer/advice.
Nick
