Hi,
just like to ask whether there already is a bug report for the following
problem, which I have frequently (not always!) since upgrading to 3.0M5:
When editing a Java source file, you typically have some errors,
indicated by the usual light bulbs. They are also indicated by
squares on the scroll bar. Fixing them, some of them turn
red and will go off with the next save, some will go immediately.
Same for the squares on the scroll bar.
With M5 it frequently happens, that the update fails to work and
the red crosses will stay forever. In particular the error indicators
in the Java Package Explorer will stay forever, same for the warning
indicators. Workaround is to rebuild the project, but that is
obviously time consuming.

There are known issues in this area due to the adoption of the background
support.
There are still glitches (M5 is a preview of the final 3.0), and if you have
obvious reproducing steps,
you should consider entering a defect against JDT/Text.
