Home and End does not work properly in M3I20031104 [message #121912] Tue, 25 November 2003 15:41 Go to next message

Hi!

I have problems with Home and End under Linux. They work as expected in Windows,
i.e. Home = first character on line, and, End = goes to EOL. But, under Linux
Home = first character IN FILE and End = goes to EOF.
I use the Standard key-mapping as always. It does not seem as if I can rearrange
the mappings.

Any ideas? This is bugging me like crazy - kinda hard to just let go of 15 years
of habit :)

Kind regards,
Jimisola

This is fixed in the newer builds, try M5.

Can't go M5 because of plugin dependencies. Do you have a bug # so that I can
check if it was fixed in an M4 Integration build?

Go to bugzilla, type in "home end" in the search expression, enable
search for fixed bugs, and you end up quickly with

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=46037
