I just tested the link to GEF in the VE download page and it works for
us. That means there is a problem someplace else between you and Eclipse
and not on the VE download page itself. The link itself is fine. It may
be a mirror problem.
You will need to open a bug against the component "Eclipse Foundation",
subcomponent "Website" and let the Webmaster track it down.
