Diagram in standalone application [message #1219634] Thu, 05 December 2013 01:06 Go to next message

Dear Members,

I would like to implement a standalone application or a plugin which would be able to display UML class diagrams in one of its view. It is like putting up a static screenshot but I think it is better if I generate this diagram preview from code. Can it be done somehow using Papyrus or GMF? If so, please give me the kick-start.

Please take a look at the screenshot of similarly what I would like to do.

Regards,
Tyler

Hi Tyler,

You should have a look at the code in org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.diagram.ui.OffscreenEditPartFactory

It can be used to draw a Diagram outside an Eclipse IEditoPart

Camille
