I have seen some discussions around the benefits of this project.
One of the key benefits, to me and other BAs is the ability to link the
various artefacts (artifacts if you're American). This should be as simple
as possible, ideally with a graphical component, and should facilitate the
preparation of impact analysis reports. The pieces that exist within
Eclipse are standalone and cannot be easily linked. The production of an
impact analysis is not feasible using the disconnected pieces.
Just a thought that I hoped would not get lost in the shuffle.

Thanks for this, Flavelle.
Traceablilty between artefacts is definitely very high on our list of
features. Not only do we agree that it is very important, but it is one
of the aspects that time and time again crops up in our discussions
with people, so I think we have great consensus there!... :-) It will
definitely loom large in our upcoming FAQ.
ORMF is of course designed with traceability in mind. We already have
it between and within the requirements types that we are currently
supporting and the list will grow.You will be very welcome to provide
your specific input and any suggestions once you experience what we are
doing in this arena.
