Hi,

I was using the Visual Composition tool in VisualAge to do Java Swing GUI
development in the past. I've moved to Eclipse for my development but I
don't know if there is any Visual-Composition-like tool/plug-in available
for Eclipse. In other words, I need a handy code-generation tool in
Eclipse for Java Swing development. Anybody has some information on this?

Thanks a lot!

Heather

Your in luck. The Visual Editor project just started. It is based on the
visual editor provided with WSAD by IBM. If you are running Eclipse
2.1.2, you can try out the new Visual Editor. You can find the project
home page here:

http://www.eclipse.org/vep/

Make sure that you also download and install the appropriate versions of
GEF and EMF.
