Problem with toolbar [message #117579] Tue, 06 January 2009 05:20 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi all,

I encounter a problem when using RAP Toolbar. Steps as follow:

1. Create main project A, and 2 plug-in projects B & C.
2.
1) Add Extensions “org.eclipse.ui.actionSets” to project A.
2) Add action “TestA” for the Extensions, then it will appear in the
toolbars of project A, B, C.
3.
1) Add extensions “org.eclipse.ui.actionSets” to project B. Then add
action “TestB” for the Extensions, set visible as “false”.
2) Add Extensions “org.eclipse.ui.perspectiveExtensions”. Then add a
perspectiveExtension whose TargetID is the same as the PerspectiveID.
Thus, TestB will appear in toolbar of project B, and won’t appear in those
of A & C.
4.Do the same thing as described in Step 3 for project C.

After the above steps, run the project and switch between the 3 projects.
Toolbar are not showing correct contents in correct places.

Please help to solve the problem.

Cheers,
Terry

Terry,

it seems that you are experiencing the same problem as described in
