Component and Ports [message #115520] Fri, 30 March 2007 01:55 Go to next message

Hello,

I'm trying to pin down the structure needed to support ports attached to
Component Boxes (in my example Devices).

I'm treating Ports as Compartments, but when I set them
to be side affixed in the gmfgraph, the gmfmap won't validate.
I get "side affixed children cannot be placed in compartments".

I've attached a picture of the structure I have.

The above seems to be one example of some common patterns
in GMF, which it would be great if people could access. If we
can bottom this one out, I'll post the solution around!

Cheers,

Andy

OK. I've sorted this, and will post the answer out.
