How to use generator to include binary data into repository [message #115382] Fri, 25 July 2008 14:15
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi All,

let me explain the problem before ask for help :)

I need include a non plugin data into the repository in order to update my
product. This non plugin data (it is a directory containing some stuffs)
must be unpack into root installation directory.

So the question is, there is a way to pass some parameters to generator in
order to it generates the correct repository ( containing the binary
(stuffs that i want putting in the root installation directory during
update )) . My umbrella feature (or someone else bellow it) must list this
binary.

I am able to do that generating my binary + editing content/artifact.xml
by myself. I just want to know whether it could be done by the generator
in a pragmatic way.

Thanks in advance

Gladyston
