how to implement a partial diagram? [message #112771]

Hi,

I need to create a number of different diagrams for a single document.
They will show different aspects of it (different parts actually). The
file can be edited manually, so I want each of the diagrams to have a kind
of "reload" ability.

I have created the metamodel for the whole document. I suppose that my
steps now are the following:
- plug in EMFT Transaction to synchronize between the diagram editors
- create gmftool, gmfgraph and gmfmap descriptions for each diagram
- modify the diagram initialization wizard and code in order to add only
the proper elements to the diagram

Could please someone give me a hint what should I do to create a partial
diagram and maintain it synchronized with the model file?

Concerning synchronization - try GMF 2.0M5 Newly generated ???DocimentProvider
should halndle some set of synchronization issues.

Hi Alex!

Could you tell me where to find the docs on the latest features from the
GMF milestones? I hope I'm not supposed to guess about them from the
generated source code...

I've found the place where to download the latest GMF milestone builds,
but have not found any docs about them - particularly "What's new and
noteworthy" is interesting.
