Highlight does not highlight the entire table cell [message #111062]

I have a report template file that changes the background color of a
cell in a table row to blue. However when I preview the report in
HTML only part of the cell is highlighted. That is, there is white
spaces surrounding the cell. From viewing the generated HTML it seems
taht a <div> tag is used to encase the text shown in the cell. The
div tag contains the background-color style. Shouldn't the <td>
bakground-color style change instead of the <div> tag? This is also a
problem if I don't display any text within a cell. In this case the
cell does not get highlighted at all.

Highlighting is disabled in final release since only exporting data needs
it. Exporting data's behavior is changed to allowing user exploit all
available result set in the report doc.

This highlighting thing needs to be polished.

This is a bug. Can you please file a bug, so we can track this issue?
