LISTBOX PARAMETER WITH MULTIPLE SELECTION [message #1110733] Tue, 17 September 2013 05:05 Go to next message

Hi

I'm using a listbox parameter populated from a dataset but I'm unable to generate report using the multiple selection option. Just the first selected value is used on the query.
A warning dialog says: "if a user sets multiple values for the report parameter, the dataset parameter uses only the first value"

is there any way to circumvent this limit? in other words, how to make to work a query when several options are selected?

thanks in advance

Hi,

We can't use a regular SQL parameter with a multiple selection, it is necessary to use a birt script. To achieve this a simple method is explained in this post.
