Can I use the gradient colors as the diagram's background?

It seems that the style of the Rectangle of the diagram is ignored when I set the style. (AdaptedGradientColorAreas is wrapped in the style object)

Jack,

currently, the styling information on the diagram rectangle is ignored. If
you are interested in that feature, you may file it as an enhancement
bugzilla for Graphiti.

I'm in favour this enhancement, not juste for the styling information
such as background color, but also for adding icon decorations for the
diagram.

diagrams.

in future versions of Graphiti :)
