I don't know if I can help much, but after the xenophobic responses I
saw, I thought I'd give it a try...

First, I know next to nothing about Jview except that when I run it on
my system, it is a Micro$oft "feature". The fact that I get it from
C:\WINNT\System32\ means that there is no such thing in the "normal"
JDKs. (I *always* have the JDK paths prior to the M$ ones to make sure I
get "real (TM) Java)"! :-)

So, looking at your path, it looks like you *used* to get Jview from M$
at C:\Windows\System32... which is now C:\WINNT\System32... (you
migrated from an older M$ OS to XP?) change the Windows in your path to
WINNTs and you might get back to your old behavior.

Now what this has to do with Eclipse I have not a clue... but I do know
it has even less to do with how well you do or do not speak English!

1) You need to learn to exhibit respect, tolerance, and politeness.
2) If you fail at Number 1), get out.
3) Come to think of it, get out now and come back only if you succeed at
Number 1)

Eric

Eric,
I don't know if you're from a foreign country or not, but we don't
need people like that around here. Look at all the things that happen b/c
people can't read or write English. You have foreigners driving on
Interstates and major highways and can't even read the signs, thus causing
accidents. So for you Eric:

1) I give respect to those that earn and deserve my respect, which you
don't fall into this category.
2) You don't EVER tell me what to do or what to say. I will gladly speak
my mind and acknowledge my rights.
3) If you try to take away these rights from me, there will be some
consequences, legal or physical. You pick.

Your great American pal,
Beaner

You tried to tell someone in 1) above what to say, or at least how to
say it, and you tried to tell someone in 2) above what to do.

Why do you have the right to do what you tell others not to do?

Are you saying "get out" as in out of America? I doubt they're in
America. Or are you saying to get out of eclipse.newcomer? I don't think
that's "yours". Sorry.

I'm still trying to learn the OSS process, as practiced in the Eclipse
community.... so... Eric, do you happen to know what the process is for
"dealing" with such conflicts and problems? I have my vote ready to go
in this manner if someone wants to initiate the process.

Everyone's pal (and in this community, who cares where I live or where
I'm from),

apologize and will refrain from doing such idiocies in the future.

Dear Randy,

we all know beaner is missbehaving. Just to prevent a useless flamewar,
we should ignore him. (Even though his behaviour is really disgusting)
Beaner should in fact not expect me (or so. else), to help him out with
any problem in the future, until he learns how to behave. >-(

I don't know whether there is a 'official' way to deal with this.

Deeply suffering from fear of having made any grammatical or spelling
mistakes :-D
king regards

accepted, so no combination of pain killers, watching movies AND
newsgrouping.
