If I export the test project as a XML file and push it into a SVN server, is it possible to automatically load the test.xml into a database and execute it with test executor? I went through the parameters available to the test executor, but haven't been able to find anything. Maybe I have missed something?

You have missed "dbtool" which handles command line based import/export and db maintenance.
