Microsoft Office Excel Injector does not produce output [message #900379]

Hi,

I am starting with ATL.
After have executed the ATL Example (public2private) provided in the Eclipse Juno,
I tried to run the Microsoft Office Excel Injector from the ATL Transformations Zoo.

It seems to be simple: unpack the sources, create the ATL project and run the example.

The ATL Luncher found the metamodels. But I also tried to give the path to them.

However, in both cases the generated output was an XML file with two lines,
no data. Only the xml header and xmi header tags.

There is some incompatibility of this example with Eclipse Juno or I missed something?

Hi,

I played again with other examples such as the Families2Persons,
and all ran without problem.

In the first try with the Excel Injector I forgot to register the metamodels,
and because of that I could not even try to view the model.

However, now with the metamodels registered, I am executing the Excel Injector again
and I am getting the following error:

Error loading platform:/resource/MicrosoftOfficeExcelInjector/modelsExamples/ExcelXMLFileExample.xml: org.eclipse.emf.ecore.xmi.PackageNotFoundException: Package with uri 'urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:spreadsheet' not found. (platform:/resource/MicrosoftOfficeExcelInjector/modelsExamples/ExcelXMLFileExample.xml, 3, 120)

Should I register the MS XML Schema? Where can get it?
Looking for answers in the Google I could not find anything.

Do someone have tried this injector before?

Marcin,

I tried again, but no success.
As we had a strict deadline at that time and no one answer my question in this forum
we change to use ReqIF as input.

However, we still need to work with Excel late.

If I have new I on that issue, I will post here.
