Update unavailable in M2? [message #102071] Tue, 29 July 2003 07:30 Go to next message

I'm getting the following message when trying to access update from M2 on
MacOS X and Linux/RedHat 9:

Problems occurred restoring workbench.
Unable to restore perspective: Workspace - Java.
Could not create view: org.eclipse.update.ui.ConfigurationView
Could not create view: org.eclipse.update.ui.UpdatesView
Could not create view: org.eclipse.update.ui.DetailsView
Could not create view: org.eclipse.update.ui.SearchResultsView

I naively copied my workspace over from my M1 version so I wouldn't have to
recreate my projects - any ideas or help?

Thanks and have fun! - Bob

Okay, so I looked under the help menu and that's where update lives now (its
not a perspective anymore). Duh.
