Disabling chart wizard preview [message #101646] |

Hello developers,
a Chart-Wizard related question:
I'm using scripted data sources to retrieve data from external systems.
Using the new chart wizards leads to error messages about invalid java
script statements in data sets fetch clause (the same scripts worked
correct in earlier versions this way). Because my external Java classes
are some kind of "mock objects", they never return real data (actually I'm
not using the report editors preview function at all). Changes to external
classes make it necessary to copy them in the birt viewer lib folder and
restart eclipse all the time, which isn't very comfortable.
In my case it would be of great help if the chart wizards preview (not the
"main" preview of course)could be disabled (maybe a birt property in
eclipse birt prefs?) or to "hide" these error messages.
