EclipseLink Download Error [message #1006729] Fri, 01 February 2013 11:01 Go to next message

I am experiencing a recent problem trying to download Eclipselink in the JPA Facet configuration form in Eclipse. I have selected the EclipseLink 2.4.x and then select the download button. I am then presented a list of the eclipselink download options from 1.1.4 all the way through the current 2.4.1 - Juno release. It then populates the Library Name and Download destination fields. I then select next to accept the terms and conditions and then select the finish button. The download begins and then almost immediately the Transfer Failed dialog appears with the error in opening zip file. This process worked a couple of weeks ago with out any issues. But a couple of days ago I was helping a fellow developer configure their new computer and this is when I noticed the error. I have since tried it on environments that were working (Mac OS X), Windows and Linux to no avail. I also tried even using a 2.3.x version with the same results.

Does anyone know what happened or how to configure the JPA Facet with an externally downloaded Eclipselink install? This worked perfectly a couple of weeks ago with out issue.

Myself and a group of developers working with me in a new project are having the same issue. I have done this many times in the past and never had this happen before. Thanks.

Tried this for the first time today, and it failed for me too.

I run Eclipse 4.2 (Juno) on Linux Mint 14.

Any workaround will be much appreciated, as I am writing course material on
Google Cloud SQL.

@Niel Hauge, thanks for resolving this issue. I have verified that it works on each of my development environments (OS X, Linux and Windows) with Eclipse Juno.
