How to find XML structures directly from the XSD [message #1007080]

I am currently exploring the HL7 XSD world; it is indeed not little. I need to assess where to put an element when building an XML document.

The XSDs define so many elements in at times quite deep structures that it takes too much effort to easily find where to put the element I know I need. Not to name all alternative ways to store it! So here comes my question: Is there a way to easily search for all possible paths from the element I know back to the document's root; including inherited paths?

No, the XSD model doesn't provide such a utility.
