I use Eclipse 4.2.1 with current Windowbuilder and Java 7. When I switch from text view to design mode, the WindowBuilder comes up with all the JOptionsPanes I use in my project. To proceed I need to click ok on every of these OptionPanes. Whenever I change anything in the Gui, this happens again which is more than annoying. Does anybody know how to get rid off this bug?

Never having seen that and without seeing any example code, its hard to say.

In general, based on your description, I would think calling Beans.isDesignTime() would work.
