M8, Build with <ctrl>-B [message #99882] Thu, 15 April 2004 11:27 Go to next message

Hello, tried CDT M8, with standard make workflow, (Windows 2000) but to my
surprise the really nice icon for building the active project has
disappeared.

In the context menu the entries for "Build Project" and "Rebuild Project"
are shaded out.
For building my project I have always to select "Create Build Target..".
This is much slower.

Do I have configured something wrong or is this wanted this way?
In the latter case I would ask politely to have my button back.

Best regards
Klaus

Hello,

I experience the same problem. Linux - Eclipse 3.0M8/CDT 2.0M8,
Imported Standard Make Project and there seems no other way to
build than to click the Target "all" in the "Make Target" Tab.

"Build Project" and "Build All" under the "Project" Menu is inactive!
What may be the reason for that? What I am doing wrong? - I'm new to
Eclipse

Hope someone can help...

Harris

From the cdt-dev list, this might be the answer to your problem:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=56753
