Can eclipse be used under 64-bit Windows platform [message #30693]

jdk1.5.0_06 and eclipse 3.1.2, it also popped out a similar error,can't
access jar startup.jar, if it can't be used under 64-bit Windows currently,
which release will it be compatible with 64-bit hardware,thanks.

Tong,

Eclipse does not currently support 64 bit Windows. You can follow
progress of adding support for this platform by adding yourself as a CC
to the following bug: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=57151

For future reference, questions like this should be posted on the
eclipse.newcomer newsgroup.
