So, is it safe to download the ibm contributions? or we should wait more?

Thanks for documenting. I'd meant to take that out of doc. It was some
info on how to set classpath, etc., on a Java Project to get JSP debugging
to work, but that should not be necessary any longer just using "debug on
server" from a web project. [but if anyone's interested it was just info
taken from the JDT's "java family" example,
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/~checkout~/org.ecli pse.jdt.ui.examples.javafamily/ReleaseNotes.html?rev=HEAD
and, again, that information should no longer be needed (and, frankly, I
don't even know if still accurate in the current context).]

IMHO, it safe to download the contributions. The important thing to
remember is that NOT SUPPORT, EVAL ONLY, and DEVELOPMENT code. This
means that unless you live dangerously don't use this in a production
environment, because there are bugs and could lose data.

It also means that keeping track of bugs is not the main goal. The goal
is finding what features are important in the projects. This will help
the community decided what we should keep, what we should lose, and what
we need to create.

If this is wrong, please correct me.

Regards,

Jeff Duska

Jeff,
Well said - this is exactly the point - these contributions are not finished
code, nor will they ever be.
Those of you who are helping by looking for useful features, missing
features, and so on are definitely helping - thanks.
Those who are saying (explicitly or implicitly): "fix these bugs so that I
can use this right now in a production environment" are not helping.
