How can I apply a style to the Layout? [message #1615251] Fri, 13 February 2015 15:26 Go to next message

Hello,

I have "Used" a .css file with a report. If I place an object such as Text on the Layout page, I can select that object and apply a style from the .css file and it works. However, I would like to apply a style to the Layout "page" as a whole. What I am trying to do is set some "global .css styles" such as a font "preferences list" to all items that appear on the Layout. I can apply this style to the Master Page as a whole and anything I place on that page reflects the style. But I can't do this on the Layout page? My questions are:

1) Why can I apply a style to the Master Page as a whole but not to the Layout page?
2) How can I apply a .css style to the report as a whole (Master page and Layout page) such as a "preferences list" for the font: "Helvetica", "Arial", "Verdana", "Microsoft Sans Serif". (The "report" style doesn't allow for a list such as this.

Thank you.

So, you did try applying a CSS style sheet with a definition of the report style class that included the preference list for font without success?
