Hi!

Is the JET editor part of the latest EMFT-JET integration build? I'm
wondering because I just installed it from the interims update site and
it doesn't seem to be included.

http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/indextech.cgi/org.eclipse.emf t/jet/plugins/org.eclipse.emf.codegen.jet.editor/

Gunnar:

The JET editor is not yet available on the interim update site, although
there are plans to do this.

Will the JET Editor come out of the Eclipse Modeling Tools/JET project, or
the Tools/EMF project? I'd like to keep an eye out for it.

Will the Editor have capabilities similarto the JSP editor in WTP with
syntax highlighting, content assist, error checking, etc.? Is it based on
the Structured Source Editor work in the WTP?

John,

The current version of the JET Editor will be targeting the JET support
currently in org.eclipse.emf.codegen and during the next release cycle
we'll look at supporting it for JET "2", i.e., for org.eclipse.jet. It
does do stuff like syntax highlighting and content assist, but is not
based on the SSE work. Your note reminded me that we haven't made the
builds available for this yet, although I think the builds are working.
I'll follow up to see what's holding that up...
