I am trying to create an Oomph setup to provision a development environment for our RCP-based product. I'm almost there...
I have three queries related to perspectives:
- Is there any way for Oomph to set up the new workspace with a specific default perspective? The Eclipse RCP/RAP product has the Plug-in Development perspective enabled by default and I never use that so would prefer the Java perspective.
- Is there any way to change the default perspective buttons on the right hand side of the main toolbar. For example, I always have Java, Debug and Git perspectives with the label visible.
- Is there any way to specify different default layouts for perspectives. This is probably more of a per-user preference but it would be good to get the same layouts every time.
Dave.

Very good ;-)

No, but we've discussed that already and want to implement that. Unfortunately I'm not sure if that can happen very soon
because of resource constraints.

No, but that sounds like a good thing, too!

My answer one applies here, too.
