Key binding issues [message #302357] Wed, 19 April 2006 11:22 Go to next message

CTRL Key bindings for Eclipse seem to fail after a certain time.

I user the M6/Callisto download and added the JST with all the
dependencies through Callisto. This is using windows.

I am debugging a remote application not using the WTP server tools, but
rather JDK1.4 with a -debug attribute.

As I am working tracing and adding breakpoints, at one time (could not
figure out what I do exactly), the Ctrl key bindings stop working, for
example CTRL+S no longer saves, Ctrl+Space no longer brings up the context
information, and the Delete key also seems to stop working.

At that point those are working fine in other windows application and some
Windows standard key buindings (Such as pressing Alt S brings me in the
menu uinder the Source heading).

Am I doing something wrong, or should I report this as a bug?

Because this is bothering me so much that I will most likely revert my
eclipse base to the last working version, I have logged this as a bug at
this point. It has already happend to me twice more since I logged the
original entry and I can't see what I am doing to activate this bug.
