Hello,

is it possible to redirect the output of a plugin to the normal JDT console
instead of the PDE ErrorLog?

They are two very different concepts. The JDT console is for output from
a launched application. There is actually one JDT console page per
launched application, but you only see one at a time though. Using the
menu from the console you can switch to the outputs from other launched
applications. Since you want to be coming from a plugin, you are not
running within any launched applications, so the JDT console doesn't
apply to it.
